First produced in 2009, with such tiny production that the labels are hand written, this super special Cabernet Sauvignon from the Clare Valley in Australia is a real treat.

The Wakefield (known as Taylor's in Australia) Visionary Cab comes from barrels originally destined for the Wakefield St Andrews Cabernet Sauvignon, but they are hand selected for there elegance, subtlety & superior concentration of fruit. Then the selected barrels are transferred to a second new oak barrel for maturation...a double whammy of oak

A serious wine which will benefit from serious ageing but happily stands toe to toe super premium Napa Valley Cab Sauvs.
